PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Las Vegas Aces are looking for a dynamic Human Resource & Administrative Finance Manager who excels at both people management and financial oversight. This unique opportunity allows you to blend a passion for HR with essential financial reporting skills, all while contributing to an organization that thrives on teamwork, innovation, and excellence. In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating a positive workplace culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the HR functions of the Las Vegas Aces; handling questions, concerns, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment
• Create and manage employee engagement programs, including team-building activities, wellness initiatives, and recognition efforts
• Help create and implement HR policies that align with our values and industry's best practices
• Develop and deliver engaging training sessions and make onboarding a seamless and exciting experience for new hires
• Ensure our workplace complies with all employment laws and safety standards
• Track and analyze key HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements to leadership
• Process and maintain accurate records of employee documents, ensuring timely filing in personnel files and adherence to confidentiality standards
• Record and monitor company credit card transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist with basic financial reporting preparation for monthly and quarterly budget review
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 years of experience in HR or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a applicable field
• Relevant certifications (for example: aPHR, PHR, HRCI, SHRM-CP, LCSW, etc.) are a bonus
• Exposure to financial tasks like credit card entry or reporting is a plus
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid Nevada driver's license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Tech-savvy and familiar with HRIS systems and basic accounting tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and grow
• Basic computer skills, Excel and Word preferred
