Winter Intern - Social Media & Graphic Design

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

We are seeking savvy social media and design candidates excited to get their head start in show business. We will be conducting interviews virtually but candidates must reside in the NYC area as some work will be live based events.

Laughing Buddha Comedy is NYC's leading producer of stand up comedy open mics, new talent shows, and features a nationally recognized comedy school.

We are looking for graphic design interns to start immediately from the beginning of January through the end of March.

Approximately two half days, 8 to 10 hours a week, very flexible schedule. This may include attending our shows and open mics at night in Manhattan or Brooklyn and handling graphic design promotional duties, such as flyers, banners, ads, and other items.

This may also include working on new projects as we expand into digital content, for example, traveling or cooking videos intertwined with comedy.

The best candidates should have a savvy social media skill set that includes familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, FB, Canva, Photoshop, Procreate, and or Adobe. You should have experience with shooting, editing, montages, and more. If you have a special skill please let us know!

*Please note this is a business position, we are not looking for performers. Our open mics and shows featured uncensored content so you must be able to immerse yourself in that environment without prejudice.
