Position Title: Intern, Franchise Management – Summer 2023
Location: Burbank, CA
Reporting to: Manager, Licensing & Merchandising
Application Window: February 21, 2023 - March 10, 2023
Program Dates: June 5, 2023 - August 11, 2023
Hourly Pay Rate Range: $15.50 - $17.50

Summary
Legendary is looking for an Intern to assist the Licensing & Merchandising team. This internship will give you first-hand experience on how the development of partnerships and promotions work within a studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Franchise Management, Entertainment Marketing, and be pursuing (or recently graduated with) an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, and/or related fields. In addition to working closely with the executives and members of the team, interns will have the opportunity to attend guest speaker sessions, networking events, and screenings. This is a paid, in-person internship.
Responsibilities
• Assemble decks, presentation boards, and documents for meetings.
• Participation and note-taking in meetings and group brainstorming sessions.
• Assist with Film & TV projects in development.
• Conduct market research.
• Provide department administrative support
• Support special projects as needed.
Experience & Skills
• Must be enrolled in college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/summer) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
• Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong service orientation, interpersonal skills demonstrated when interacting with all professional levels
• Approachable style, ability to connect with employees/clients and establish rapport
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly ambitious environment; flexible and adaptable
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
• Previous internship experience and work experience in an office environment preferred
