Hourly Pay Rate Range: $16.00 - $18.00

Summary

Legendary is looking for an Intern to assist its Visual Effects & 3D team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in a variety of areas in VFX & 3D in a film studio. In addition to working closely with the executives and members of the team, interns will have the opportunity to attend guest speaker sessions, networking events, and screenings. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of visual effects production techniques used in previous Legendary films.
• Experiment with the development and application of machine learning algorithms to enhance visual effects workflows.
• Collaborate with the VFX team to understand project requirements and contribute innovative solutions.
• Assist in developing and testing new software tools and techniques for managing the visual effects process from pre-production to completion.

Requirements
• Must be enrolled in college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Fall/Spring) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
• Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Demonstrated interest in visual effects production and the filmmaking process
• Experience in machine learning and a keen interest in Computer Science
• Proficiency in programming languages, specifically Python and NodeJS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
