Audio Specialist/Machine Room/Mix tech

This is a Full Time Job

Qualifications: Candidate must possess an incredible attention to detail, be well organized, a quick learner, and have the energetic personality to fit into a fun but often hectic environment. Must have a vast knowledge of Avid Pro Tools and Mac maintenance/upkeep. Must have flexible hours and understand the ''nature'' of the post production industry. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while also assisting the Mixing and Sound Editorial teams and managing required deliverables.

Job Requirements: This position demands the wearing of multiple hats and candidates must be capable of handling the following tasks while under pressure:
-Audio Laybacks
-Atmos workflows w/ RMU
-Session conforms, ISO conforms, multi-track assemblies
-Video encoding & transcoding using various tools and applications and mastery of containers and codecs
-Thorough understanding of EDL's
-Audio and video streaming workflows and Internet-based technologies
-Experience with Source Elements tools
-Signal patching/routing/troubleshooting
-Audio and Video QC
-Pro Tools HDX system maintenance (updating/installing software and hardware)
-Daily archiving and backups
-Plugin and audio license maintenance
-Managing SFTP accounts and traffic
-File maintenance and structuring/organizing large databases
-Basic knowledge of and experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) or Network Attached Storage (NAS)
-Network troubleshooting and maintenance
-Digitizing picture
-Label printing
-Setting up Evercast sessions
-Light dialog and SFX editorial
-Help with administrative tasks
-Engineer assisting
-Soldering and terminations with various cables
-Occasional runner duties, etc.
