Summary of Position
Lionsgate Canada’s Human Resources department is looking for Coordinator, Human Resources to provide support to the HR Partner & HR Operations Partner. The role provides heavy administrative support and is responsible for select employee life-cycle management duties as well as project-based tasks, in support of the team’s initiatives and overall success.
Responsibilities
• First point of contact for Lionsgate Canada employees providing guidance on HR policies and programs (e.g. leaves of absence, vacation, personal leave, service awards, tuition reimbursements, etc.)
• Support Employee Lifecycle activities, including, but not limited to:
• Coordinating incoming new hire requests, including creating and maintaining employee position data in SAP SuccessFactors
• Maintaining the new hire orientation tracker
• Benefits administration including enrolling, terminating, and updating member information accurately with benefits provider
• Maintaining electronic employee files, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date
• Coordinating employee offboarding, including exit interviews
• Partnering with Facilities & IT on employee onboarding & offboarding
• Generating letters for employee related changes including salary increases, promotions, employment verification, etc.
• Support with HRIS and Payroll administration, including:
• Partnering with HRIS and Payroll teams to ensure employee changes are maintained and accurate in SAP SuccessFactors & ADP payroll in a timely manner
• Assisting with data validation across SAP SuccessFactors and ADP Workforce Now to ensure accurate employee information
• Partnering with HRIS and Payroll to troubleshoot employee access to HR related systems
• Coordinating temporary and independent contract staff requests including onboarding, offboarding and process documentation
• Assisting with administration of vendor invoices – submitting payments through SAP and following up with accounting as needed
• Assisting with updating internal resources such as HR templates, employee handbook and our company intranet
• Scheduling meetings, complete travel and expenses for HR Business Partner & HR Operations Partner
• Providing support on projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Human Resources
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
• Effective interpersonal/ written/ verbal communication skills and relationship management
• Must maintain confidentiality and interface with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as outside partners
• Must have discretion, be able to practice good judgement and take initiative
• Must possess strong attention to detail
Nice to Haves
• Experience with an HRIS/HCM system; ideally SAP SuccessFactors
