This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Summary of Position
The Creative Advertising team is seeking a creative, design intern specialist in Print and Print Production. The intern candidate will work directly with an Art Director to help create and develop artistic solves for print, digital, social, display, in-theater, online channels and VOD platforms.
Using photography, typography and design fundamentals, along with the latest software within the Adobe Creative Suite will be essential, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Bonus if the candidate has experience in Ai products such as Midjourney, and/or previous knowledge of online engagement such as streaming on Twitch and Kick.
Responsibilities
• Familiarizing yourself with the process of marketing motion picture films
• Learning the basics of the design process in motion picture advertising
• Researching design reference/examples to aid in development of key art explorations.
• Contributing to critiques and analysis of artwork campaigns
• Designing campaign assets (print and digital) such as posters, social posts and collateral (promotional items)
• Project and time management of multiple projects and campaigns
Skills
• Currently pursuing a degree in Art, Design, Graphic Design or similar field
• Art Direction or Designer experience preferred (personal projects or professional will be considered)
• Extensive knowledge of art principles, art history and/or advertising history
• Demonstrated ability with Adobe Suite software. Bonus: Ai programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Microsoft Suite programs knowledge
• Basic knowledge of project management software: Monday.com, Trelo, Boot Camp

All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.
Details
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

Department Overview
The MPG/Creative Advertising team at Lionsgate designs and develops artwork for Theatrical and Home Entertainment marketing campaigns. This team handles design solutions for the full lifecycle of our films, employing creative strategies to develop and cultivate the strategy, implementing that position, using graphic design and marketing. We work from start to finish on a campaigns profile and develop visual centers that drive that films excitement and awareness with the audience.
Compensation
$18 per hour
