This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Summary of Position
The Acquisitions & Co-Productions team is seeking an intern who will help cover scripts and completed films, prepare for film festivals and track submissions. The intern will be exposed to how the team builds relationships with entertainment executives and potential business partners (i.e.: producers, directors), and learn how the team interacts with agencies and filmmakers to set internal screenings. The intern will be exposed to how executives and team members interface with various departments across Lionsgate to coordinate information sharing. Experience writing script coverage is highly preferred in this position.
Responsibilities
• Execute script and screener coverage
• Organize and enter information about available films into our database
• Design and create decks for film festival recaps
• Assist in tracking incoming submissions
• Research and monitor the trades for important film announcements and sales
Skills
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursing a degree in Film or Communications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience writing script coverage
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of PowerPoint or Google Slides
• A passion for film

The Lionsgate and Starz Summer 2024 Internship program dates are: June 11thAugust 16th, 2024.
All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.
Details
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
