This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Intern, WWTV Distribution (Canada)
Summary of Position
Our Toronto office is currently seeking a forward thinking intern able to thrive in a dynamic team environment. An internship role with our team will be project-driven and ideal candidate will have a keen interest for Television and Film, exceptional communication skills and motivation to learn in a fast paced environment.
Lionsgate is a leading global entertainment company with a strong and diversified presence in motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home entertainment, family entertainment, digital distribution, new channel platforms and international distribution and sales.
Under the direction of the Executive Vice President & Managing Director and along with our Toronto-based team, the intern will be responsible for researching and coordinating several key projects while reporting into our Manager, TV Sales and Distribution.
Responsibilities
• Aid in the creation of a “territory overviewâ€
• Gather competitive analysis of local and global content platforms
• Screen current films, upcoming television series, read script materials and provide detailed notes
• Participate in internal local and global sales meetings, as requested
• Ad hoc duties as requested

Internship Details
Program Dates for Canada: Monday, June 3rd Friday, August 9th, 2024
The Lionsgate and Starz Internship Program is designed to identify, recruit, and develop a diverse group of students that will gain meaningful educational experiences, professional growth, and career opportunities.

Details
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Internship position will require working in-office
