VP, Corporate & Brand Communications
Lionsgate is looking for a Vice President of Corporate and Brand Communications to lead external and internal communications and manage the brand reputation of STARZ. This role will involve developing media strategies for business, trade, and consumer press and handling crisis communications. You will oversee employee communications and drive strategic stories about the company and its executives to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Drive strategic development and execution for all corporate and brand communication needs, including press releases, announcement plans, and investor-related communications.
• Manage executive communications, including securing executives on industry lists, preparing them for interviews and appearances, and overseeing awards submissions.
• Lead the communications strategy for STARZ's #TakeTheLead initiative, managing partnerships, press announcements, speech-writing, panel outreach, and advertorial content.
• Oversee internal communications, including employee memos, newsletters, business updates, and engagement events in collaboration with HR, Facilities, and Recruiting teams.
• Ensure the company's Media Room is updated and aligned with the brand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to ensure seamless communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a similar field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, particularly in writing for business, financial, and political audiences.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including proficiency in AP Style.
• Ability to adapt writing tone for different audiences and juggle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Suite.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience working with senior executives and handling confidential information with discretion.
Compensation:
$200,000 - $240,000
