THE JOB
Live Nation Concerts is seeking a qualified Ticketing Manager to manage ticket operations for its marquee promoted shows in third- party venues. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work efficiently, accurately, and effectively under pressure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing processes, a robust understanding of multiple ticketing systems, strong customer service skills, and a track record of fostering strong working relationships with artist management, senior executives, partners, and clients at all levels of an organization.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Primary box office contact for third party venues
• build on these relationships and support the BOMs
• be the LN ticketing rep for these rooms for both internal and external folks
• on-site support occasionally
• Oversee programming on ticketed events
• review scaling, pricing, holds, inventory, promo offers for accuracy prior to onsale
• manage the event through its lifetime to show date (inventory, rescale)
• understand all ticketing platforms
• assist with local & tour shows
• Build & maintain events in Ticketmaster for select venues
• be the box office manager on all items
• assist with settlement/ reporting
• follow LN policies & procedures
• Process and track ticket buys, consignments, and comp orders
• Support local talent buyers, marketers, production
• Support internal members in Touring, Pricing, Sponsorship
• Input & setup ticket counts
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• 2-3 years experience as a box office manager or ticketing representative
• Strong knowledge of Box Office or similar operations
• Knowledge of ticketing provider software a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to work day, evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, and communicate
• Must be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
