THE POSITION – ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in project management within the construction development arm of Live Nation? As an Assistant Project Manager based in Pittsburgh,PA you'll play a vital role in managing construction activities for both new and existing venues throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will work closely with and be supported by a local Director of Project Management, gaining invaluable insights into venue development processes.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist the construction development team in coordinating and managing various aspects of venue construction projects.
• Support administrative tasks related to project documentation, scheduling, and budget tracking.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making processes during project planning and execution.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project compliance and success.
• Assist in conducting site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status, milestones, and key insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely on M/WBE subcontractor procurement initiatives.
• Assist in developing and executing strategies for local workforce development.
• Provide on-site supervision during construction.
• Assist in creating reports to track MWBE, Workforce Development and Finances for the lifecyle of the project.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field is highly preferred.
• 1-3 years' of construction project management, preferably in the entertainment industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, fluent in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials and sequences, and architectural/construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Comfort with physical tasks such as conducting site visits and inspections.
