THE ROLE
The Manager, Digital Media Strategy is an integral part of the Digital Marketing team, and will play a key role in the development of media campaigns. Responsibilities include developing performance-based digital strategy, leveraging data and research to build optimal, multi-faceted digital plans, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and digital channel partners in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Must have a knack for analyzing data, thinking creatively, developing innovative media strategies, and client management.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Leadership/Management Skills
• Provide mentorship, training and meaningful growth to the team
• Establish a strong rapport with department and line of business counterparts
• Work across teams to ensure accuracy, consistent execution and seamless client service
• Interact with multiple partners and continually collaborate across the marketing organization to promote audience-centric thinking and knowledge sharing
Media Planning and Execution
• Be a power user of data and tools at our disposal to create data-driven multi-channel digital media plans that align with business objectives
• Work closely with Associate Director to ensure plans across all events are leveraging best practices and optimal media mix
• Actively identifies cross-media optimizations while also taking into account the larger business goals
• Measure results, analyze effectiveness, and provide key insights on overall plan performance
• Identify and incorporate first-to-market (alphas, betas) into media plan
General Knowledge
• Proactively monitor media landscape and identify relevant trends pertinent to our business
• Construct publisher recaps, trends and POVs upon request
• Identify and share best practices, wins, recaps regularly
• Proactive thinking and identifying operational optimizations
Communication
• Communicate with confidence and displays strong ability to speak as it relates to campaign performance and industry trends
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• In-depth understanding of media planning, negotiation, and performance analysis
• Knowledge of media landscape and how channel mix impacts goals of overall media plan
• Experience across digital media, including Paid Search, Social, and Programmatic; agency experience highly preferred
o Social Platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok)
o DSPs (Google's DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon AAP, Verizon/Oath)
o Paid Search (Google Ads, SA360)
o Digital ad trafficking tools (Campaign Manager/DCM, etc.)
• Working comprehension of strategy development and required media math
• Strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment with high volume
• Proven record of effectively managing large budgets, driving quantifiable results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and vlookups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain efficient communication across different teams
• A passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of online advertising and industry trends

The expected compensation for this position is:
$72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
