The Director, Brand Growth – Food will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic direction of Live Nation's owned food and beverage brands. You will oversee overall brand direction and be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to drive brand experience, product expansion, consumer engagement and revenue growth.You will be directly involved in all facets of brand management, with a focus on:
• Ownership of brand strategy and business planning for food or beverage portfolio
• Accountable for brand experience at venues, festivals and partner properties
• Development of brand standards, quality control and customer satisfaction measures
• Innovation and growth, including development of expansion plans and new partnerships
• Regional marketing, onsite merchandising and integrated fan journey communication
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Liaise with internal teams including Venue Nation, Media & Sponsorship, and Live Lab to develop and execute brand strategies both within and outside of LN venues
• Align with festival operators outside of Venue Nation to understand how product can exist within each of their operations
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to identify new opportunities for innovation and brand expansion
• Make recommendations on brand experiences and activities, including product, promotion and distribution
• Add product/ingredients to all major broadliner distribution channels
• Own expansion and go-to-market strategy, including securing new partnerships and conceptualizing creative regional marketing ideas to drive brand awareness and growth
• Develop brand kit of parts to guide how and where brands show up, elevating brand equity
• Work with Venue Nation and operators to develop franchise brand standards; manage brand and quality standards to strengthen consumer experience
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to track effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions
• Manage detailed budget to actively monitor and maximize ROI based on business and brand objectives
• Lead planning for new restaurant locations, including development of playbook, analysis of budgets, and execution of openings
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 5+ years experience in brand management, consumer marketing or growth, ideally within food & beverage, CPG, QSR or hospitality
• Record of success delivering innovative marketing programs with measurable results
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and gain credibility amongst peers, managers and other leadership stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter who sees opportunities for growth and can implement them quickly
• Ability to manage through ambiguity in a new strategic role within the organization
• Knowledge of competitive landscape and market research with ability to implement into decision-making
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proven understanding of data analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; proficiency in Keynote is a plus
• Strong passion for music, including knowledge of current/relevant artists and industry trends
• Willingness to travel preferred
