THE JOB
Live Nation is seeking a qualified individual for a Ticketing Manager position for Country Nation Festivals. This detail-oriented position requires efficiency, multi-tasking, and forward thinking. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organization and precision in their work scope. The ability to communicate with respect and diplomacy across all levels of business is essential to this position. Maintaining knowledge of current ticketing trends in entertainment industry is an essential element to this position.
This position will manage the day to day operations of the Country Nation's Festival Ticketing program and report into the COO-Country Nation.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Build and maintain ticketing, box office operations and reporting for all events for Country Nation's Festivals.
• Communicate regularly with promoters, Front Gate staff, Ticketmaster staff, Live Nation Ticketing staff, vendors, customers and affiliated parties
• Analyze all events as directed by COO.
• Assist Clients, Ticketmaster/Front Gate Rep and all other applicable Rep's with event programming, ticket holds, ticket accounts and other ticket details
• Process sponsorship tickets, in-house orders, comp requests, and ticket barters as requested
• Order RFID wristbands, camping passes, parking passes, ticket inserts and collectible keepsake items and keep track of inventory during sales period to ensure inventory does not run out
• Manage fan facing customer service needs as it relates to ticketing
• Communicate regularly and assist internal departments and external event personnel with any ticketing needs and concerns
• Attend all relevant meetings, functions and discussions
• Act as box office manager and venue/artist liaison at events including but limited to Sales, Guest List, Operations, Cash Management, Reporting and Customer Service
• Manage wristband registration process
• Assist with monitoring of ticket sales and maintenance of ticketing system
• Track and reconcile ticket stock inventory
• Maintain accurate box office accounting records and archives, compliance
• Receive and maintain ticket fulfillment and process invoices to completion
• Monitor supplies and equipment, as well as, report and follow up on any ticketing repair issues
• All duties as assigned by management
• Work with marketing department, production department, talent buyer, labels, artist management and / or local offices to set-up events, place holds, process orders and release tickets in a timely fashion
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• 2-3 years experience as a box office manager or representative, including management level work experience
• Knowledge of ticketing software, specifically Ticketmaster Host software, and Front Gate software
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to work day, evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Box Office or similar operations
• Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, and communicate
• Must be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
