Job Summary:
Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is a premier event venue, offering state-of-the-art sound, lighting, bowling lanes, bars, and a full-service restaurant. The venue can accommodate up to 1,200 guests and provides a full-service event production experience.
Role:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production at the venue. This includes serving as a liaison between artists, managing multi-show builds, enforcing venue rules and regulations, and maintaining production gear. The Production Manager reports to the General Manager and manages production schedules, budgets, and all aspects of live event production.
Responsibilities:
• Manage concert and private events from load-in to load-out, focusing on customer service, adherence to time schedules, and cost containment.
• Serve as a liaison between artists and advance rider needs within contract and venue limitations.
• Coordinate multi-show builds multiple times per week.
• Review and enforce emergency procedures, venue rules, and safety regulations.
• Manage all aspects of the production department, including load-ins, load-outs, settlements, and production gear maintenance.
• Maintain sound, lighting, and stage equipment, and report any malfunctions to the GM.
• Supervise stage crew during events and manage general repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Staff production positions such as sound and light engineers, stagehands, and merch sellers based on contract terms and production needs.
• Ensure production budgets align with company goals and work with GM and executive leadership to set and meet budget goals.
• Enforce adherence to house rules regarding fire codes and special effects such as pyrotechnics and confetti cannons.
Qualifications:
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work daytime, nighttime, or weekend shifts based on event schedules.
• Previous production management experience.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with loud music and crowds for extended periods of time.
