Senior Assistant Video Editor
Location: Hollywood, CA
Position Summary:
Live Nation seeks a Senior Assistant Video Editor to support the editing team by managing media assets, setting up projects, performing quality checks, and overseeing post-production workflows to ensure the delivery of high-quality content.
Responsibilities:
• Assistant Editing Duties: Organize media assets, ingest and duplicate footage, sync audio, create proxies, manage project files, assist with encoding/transcoding tasks, fulfill footage requests, and maintain a b-roll library
• Technical Operations Duties: Operate and maintain post-production equipment, troubleshoot issues, implement efficient workflows, manage data backups, and enforce security protocols for media assets
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with editors, producers, motion specialists, colorists, audio mixers, and team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow; facilitate both in-office and remote workflows
• Other Duties: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Computer Science, or related field
• 5 years of editing/assistant editing experience in Adobe Premiere environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Audition
• Knowledge of video/audio formats, codecs, and file management; experience with ProTools and Da Vinci Resolve
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and team communication skills
