THE POSITION – EXECUTIVE INTERN
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 40 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Work with LNU President and Chief of Staff on both strategy development and implementation execution across multiple festivals, tours and live events
• Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing and maintaining documents, and the logistical coordination of events
• Act as a point of contact between venues, artist management, and ensuring smooth and prompt communication
• Gather feedback from attendees, artists, and stakeholders after live music events to identify areas for improvement and inform future event planning efforts
• Conduct market research on trends in the live music industry, analyze competitor activities, and provide insights to help inform strategic decisions.
• Research digital avenues in various markets and related target demos
• Create and/or coordinate social media campaigns
• Gather calendars and holds from venues
• Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of the live music industry across all departments, including its structure, key players, revenue streams, and emerging trends
• Develop the ability to analyze data, evaluate performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
• Develop proficiency in planning, organizing, and executing live music events, from venue selection and artist booking to logistics management and audience engagement
• Acquire skills in creating and implementing promotional campaigns, leveraging social media platforms, and engaging with fans to maximize attendance and ticket sales
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
• Recent college graduate or Junior or Senior standing
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Proactive, creative thinker, and problem solver
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.
This Program is during Summer 2025.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.50 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
