THE ROLE
The Strategic Sourcer will develop and execute on lead generation and talent sourcing strategies that support our strategic recruiting efforts. You will partner closely with the Corporate Recruiting Lead and a community of recruiters and business leaders across the enterprise to successfully provide a robust candidate pipeline in support of achieving our recruiting objectives.
In this role, you will conduct market research to develop and implement pipeline strategies, including direct sourcing and engaging talent through industry events, conferences, professional organizations, social media, networks, and more. You will also design impactful recruitment marketing campaigns aimed at building strong talent pipelines and supporting recruiters in filling open positions.
As a Strategic Sourcer, you'll play a key role by collaborating both internally and externally to execute effective strategies.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Partner with Corporate Recruiting Lead, recruiting team members, Human Resources and hiring managers to outline and recommend ideas and strategies to achieve organizational objectives
• Design, develop and implement innovative sourcing and candidate attraction strategies to build candidate pipelines for early talent to senior-level roles in specific areas of focus
• Build talent networks through proactive market research, prioritizing candidate generation though outreach, marketing, events, partnerships and referrals
• Maintain and nurture pipeline of leads, identify opportunities that align with interests and expectations and provide exceptional candidate experience through effectively:
• Assessing their skills and career aspirations
• Aligning their talents with roles
• Ensuring on-going relationship management
• Recommending, championing and advocating for their candidacy
• Research, analyze and compile data to support sourcing plans; measure progress and outcomes to understand the efficacy of sourcing strategies, drive improvements and modify approaches as needed
• Identify and collaborate with internal groups and external organizations to grow strategic partners
• Leverage CRM and market analytics tools to understand market trends and data insights, informing and influencing data-driven sourcing approaches
• Collaborate with other Sourcing Specialists to share insights, ideas, best practices and lessons learned
• Remain abreast of industry trends, and creative approaches to sourcing and proactively seek out new tools
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Skills & Success Factors:
• 4+ years of candidate sourcing or combined sourcing and recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation, engagement, and closing strategies, preferably in technical or specialized skills
• 2+ years of experience leveraging market analytics, applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management technologies and common sourcing tools to pipeline talent
• Experience sourcing talent in large, decentralized organizations, with proven ability to work across complex, multi-division structures
• Track record of successfully managing, prioritizing and closing simultaneous specialized searches against a timeline with proven results
• Proven success working in a high volume, fast-paced recruiting environment, both pipeline and requisition-based, with an emphasis on sourcing top talent
• Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies and strong ability to screen, interview and present candidate slates aligned with skill and experience criteria of open roles
• Demonstrated ability in a wide range of sourcing areas including but not limited to: inbound and outbound lead generation, recruitment marketing, and recruiting event management
• Excellent communications, listening, networking and relationship building skills with demonstrated ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholders
• Consulting skills, client focus, sense of urgency and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
• Clear, concise, engaging communication and presentation skills
• Project management proficiency with strong influencing skills
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable employment laws as required, global experience preferred
