Operations Assistant - The Fillmore Charlotte
The Role:
Handling the daily operations and logistics of setting up the venue for concerts and events.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that the venue is properly set up for concerts and events.
• Responsible for tearing down and clearing up the venue after events.
• General maintenance of the property.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the venue
• Help production staff and office staff when needed.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Working knowledge of Music Venue Operations
• Able to handle manual labor
• Able to handle long show days up to 15 hours
• Must be handy, crafty, creative
• Exhibits positive attitudes
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High level of organizational and follow-through skills
• Ability to handle various projects at one time AND make good decisions
• Maintains personal integrity
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Working environment is fast paced, often loud and stressful
• Position requires extended periods working on your feet: constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
