This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship
Overview: Reporting the Team Photographer, the Photography intern will work during home games and other events, as needed. This internship will run from March 13, 2017 to approximately October 6, 2017.
Job Duties:
• Assist with shooting photos during game days and other events as needed
• Assist on departmental photo shoots
• Setup remote cameras, lighting, grip, wiring, networking
• Maintain Angels Photo Archive and learn digital workflow and data asset management
• Facilitate internal & external photo requests
• Work directly with social media team and other departments
• Support the team photographer with various administrative tasks
Qualifications:
• Minimum one year of experience in photography; 2-3 years preferred
• Desire to learn sports and commercial photography as well as the creative and technical mechanisms that support it.
• Comfortable interacting in front of large crowds with an upbeat and friendly attitude
• Strong communication skills and passion for photography
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, Capture One Pro, Microsoft Excel, Windows, Mac OS.
• Strong Social Media knowledge
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment and in media work zone
• Proficient in photography techniques, including lighting and camera positioning among others
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
