Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Entertainment & Production and Game Presentation and Events Manager, the Stage Manager is responsible for taking a lead role in the execution of game-day interactive presentation elements. This includes on-field pre-game ceremonies, national anthem staging, inning break elements, and post-game events as needed. Call time is generally 2.5 hours prior to game start.
The pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for sick time (after 90 days of employment), and 401k employee contributions after 3 months and complimentary tickets to games (12 per season).
Duties:
• Receive and instruct pre-game ceremony participants
• Place and cue pre-game ceremonies
• Coordinate with Angels Representatives for on-field amenities
• Work with Strike Force and Camera Operators to execute game presentation elements
• Serve as main on-field contact for Show Caller
• Stock/maintain supplies for entertainment distribution
• Monitor T-Shirt cannon repair and CO2 tank refill needs
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degree is a plus
• 1 year Previous entertainment/production/stage management experience preferred
• Must have excellent organization and communication skills.
• Able to make decisions quickly and react well under pressure.
• Must be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a professional presence.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk up and down stairs
• Ability to walk on uneven floors
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
