This is a Full Time Job
Job Functions:
• Responsible for administrative duties at Camelback Ranch, including the creation and maintenance of Minor League staff and player contact list, petty cash log, per diem distribution, flight arrival and departure logs, mail distribution, etc.
• Serve as liaison between the Human Resources and Player Development/Scouting Dept. with regards to administration of insurance benefits, taxes, new hire, and contract paperwork
• Provide assistance with flight coordination, hotel rooming lists, and roster updates when the CBR Baseball Operations Manager is traveling
• Provide assistance to Latin American & other foreign players in acquiring Social Security cards, Arizona IDs, bank accounts, and completion of other work-related paperwork
• Responsible for transportation of staff and players to and from Sky Harbor Airport, as well as from Camelback Ranch to the team hotel.
• Assist other Baseball Operations departments as needed throughout the year
• Spring Training duties include serving as the liaison between the Major League and Minor League Buildings
• Track mandatory trainings for all players (sexual harassment, domestic violence, etc)
• Coordinate Social Security Appointments for players
• Submit termination paperwork for free agents (BPs, COBRA)
• Responsible for free agent onboarding/tracking/collection of documents
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish & English preferred
• Knowledge of US immigration process strongly preferred
• Able to write routine correspondence with careful attention to detail
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in fast paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
