Job Description
The DodgerVision Game Day Video Engineer will work in the DodgerVision control room during Los Angeles Dodgers baseball games and special events, ensuring seamless live event production. This role requires extensive video engineering experience and will be part of a pool of staff providing game-day support.
Responsibilities
• Support in-game production by ensuring proper video/audio signal flow and synchronization
• Paint camera signals and manage video feeds in collaboration with TV trucks
• Operate Evertz routers, Sony switchers, Riedel intercoms, SMPTE cabling, EVS Replay Systems, Xpression Graphics systems, and Adder KVM systems
• Provide ideas for enhancing live game entertainment
• Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of broadcast control room equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in professional live event video engineering
• Hands-on experience with broadcast automation and video/audio routing
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Extensive hands-on experience with video production systems
Compensation
• $60.00 per hour
