Designer, Business Solutions (Corporate Partnerships)
Job Title: Designer, Business Solutions

Position Summary: The Designer, Business Solutions is primarily responsible for the creation and development of turnkey and customized cross-platform team partnership proposals that support revenue generation and partner retention associated with our corporate partnership team. This role will function as the key creative and information resource for all sales, renewals, recaps and upsell decks. The Designer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to lead creation of proposals for prospective partners (new business) and current partners (upsells and renewals) through: research (identify industry leaders, best practices, emerging technologies), platform development (idea generation and proposal construction), internal vetting, and creative presentations (write sales decks and help position inventory appropriately).
Responsibilities:
• Leading partner brainstorms, working with coordinators and account managers in development of customized decks, attending pitch meetings, providing market research and competitive analysis, etc.
• Oversee digital platform development and creation of all corporate partnership materials related to the Lakers, South Bay Lakers and Lakers Gaming
• Create and maintain calendars to ensure all sales pipeline materials are being built and updated in a timely manner
• Develop and implement digital sales strategy, having a deep understanding of digital/social/web/email opportunities and value
• Lead partnership development process from brainstorm through account management transition, working closely with sales and account management and internal/external stakeholders for approvals and to ensure client and corporate goals are aligned
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and key industry contacts to be top of mind during strategy planning and assist in vetting process
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal sales and account management teams to ensure that sales process is maintained
• Proactively identify new digital assets and build creative turnkey platforms to generate new revenue opportunities
• Identify when research needs arise and collaborate with data and analytics team as well as 3rd party vendors to create reports and distribute information. Vendors include but not limited to: Nielsen Sports Connect, Relo Metrics, YouGov, SponsorUnited.
• Seeks out innovative vendors and new platform opportunities to increase and amplify activation capabilities
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of focused properties and channel strategies;
• Collaborate with CP sales staff team to identify emerging categories and prospective clients
• Proactively watches market to identify new trends and top spending categories
• Participate in sales presentations, as needed via participation in calls and meetings, reviewing materials, leading digital content within presentation
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Previous experience: A minimum of 4 years in digital agency/digital/content roles with some level of sponsorship experience
Technology Capabilities: Technical proficiency in one of the following: PowerPoint, InDesign, Apple Keynote

• Passion for the sports and entertainment space, maintaining knowledge of sports/entertainment trends

• Highly detail-oriented and exercises solutions-focused approach
• Successful experience navigating through multiple stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic with ability to function independently while managing upwards to keep supervisor informed
• Proven ability to excel while multitasking in fast paced environment
• Excellent time management with ability to plan, organize and prioritize work to deliver exceptional work while hitting deadlines

The pay range for this role is $68,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications
