Sales Academy Intern

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The Sales Academy is a comprehensive summer internship designed to give college students practical experience in all aspects of ticket sales. Through game day experiences, hands-on training, and mentorship opportunities, our goal is to provide aspiring professionals with the tools they need to launch their career in sports.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attend all Sparks home games, plus weekly office hours as requested.
• Assist sales department with game-day activations and set up.
• Required to attend community and membership events to drive brand awareness.
• Aid the ticket sales department in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Develop a complete understanding of sales tools and processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective fans.
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must provide proof that you are eligible to receive college credit
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule from April 2024-October 2024, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Special Requirements:
• Some use of personal vehicle or alternative source of transportation
• Night and weekend availability is a priority

This is a part-time, unpaid internship and is for individuals who will receive college credit only.

4. Are you available to work all Sparks Home Games and some office hours as needed?

Expected Availability:

Game Days – up to 7 hours

Occasional Office Hours – up to 2 hours a week

Occasional Community and Outreach Hours – 5 to 10 hours a week

Full/Part time: Part time

Base Salary: College Credit only
