Post Production Assistant (PH)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Role Summary:
The Post Production Assistant supports Lucasfilm Animation in scheduling, administrative tasks, and collaboration with external vendors for multiple shows, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and Tales of the Jedi. This role involves managing post-production and editorial processes across the content pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule editorial and post-production meetings, deliverables, and reviews.
• Prepare and execute meeting notes, documents, and schedules.
• Track weekly in-office and overtime activity sheets.
• Manage hardware and software needs with recording studios and external vendors.
• Maintain editorial and post calendars.
• Assist in Quality Control (QC) reviews, including checking episodic credits for accuracy and QC on-screen credits against source sheets.
• Ensure media outputs from editorial, post, and vendors meet technical standards.
• Aid in delivering retake shots and production/editorial media to post.
• Provide IO support for media uploads/downloads with vendors.
• Support special projects, screenings, awards submissions, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience in the entertainment field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Art, or Communication, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in production or post-production media acquisition (e.g., timecode, logging, capturing).
• Strong administration skills, including proficiency in Google Suite (Excel emphasis).
• Self-starter with strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• On-site attendance required for in-person sessions and reviews.
Salary Range:
