Spring Intern - Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Seeking enthusiastic development interns for Spring 2025 semester, internship at MA Productions, a boutique production company specializing in both Film and TV. Collaborating with major streamers and studios, the company's recent series, ''BURIED,'' earned two Emmy nominations.

Remote duties include coverage and analysis on scripts and books, as well as non-scripted and documentary work. Interns will learn to evaluate potential projects and give their input on existing projects in development. This is a great chance to dive into the developing process, learning what makes a good story and also getting to know writers and other filmmakers. The intern will conduct research of up-and-coming talents (directors, writers, producers) and will cover highlights from the trades regarding exciting and new deals, film and TV reviews and more. In addition, the intern will search for new books, articles and true stories. This includes reading book reviews, covering newspapers both national and local as well as international magazines. Some responsibilities may also include production related tasks.

This is a remote unpaid position of around 20 hours/week and is preferably done for college credit.
