Fall Intern - Digital Compositing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship


Our publishing team is looking for an intern to help with producing Marvel printed comics into digital comics.
These digital comics, are sent to our partners for sale. Also our digital comics are placed in the Marvel website for download and streaming.

Responsibilities:

The intern will be responsible for gathering files and converting to web ready comics.
Other responsibilities will be to help track and keep the files in order. Helping to create the reading experience of panel-to-panel reading for our Marvel Unlimited comics.

Basic Qualifications:

Intern should have knowledge with the Adobe Suite programs. PHOTOSHOP, INDESIGN, ILLUSTRATOR.
Should be responsible for organizing large amounts of files. A keen sense for design. Great listening skills. Work well with the digital team. Should be always on time and open to learning new ways to use the Adobe programs for completing digital comics for Marvel comics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Resume must outline other internships, degrees earned, work experience, related clubs and organizations, current major course of study, expected graduation date and extracurricular activities.
• Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period.
• Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Required Education

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program by arrival date

Additional Information:

Internship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.

Program Dates: The internship will start in September - December with flexibility as needed based on academic calendars.

Housing & Transportation: This internship is located in New York, NY. All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
