Job Title: Video Production Associate & Editor
Location: Boston, MA
Company: 143 Studios, Inc.
Role Responsibilities:
• Operate SONY A-series cameras for pre-recorded and live broadcasts.
• Manage audio console and all aspects of sound during recordings.
• Maintain and operate studio lights.
• Use MAC-based computer software to prepare video recordings for publishing.
• Collaborate with the Podcast, Social, and Course teams to create video content for marketing initiatives.
• Deliver video clips to support The Mel Robbins Podcast.
• Define best practices for creative excellence and strategic thinking in GFX creative & motion design.
• Edit scripts or stories to bring them to life with linear and non-linear editing.
• Input music, effects, dialogue, and graphics when appropriate.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and meetings to develop brand content.
• Coordinate materials and deliveries for cross-functional needs.
• Maintain Monday.com tickets/tasks and project status.
• Ideate, create, and test video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Serve as Editor/Producer to Senior Manager for YouTube-specific series.
• Collaborate on content calendars with Brand, Podcast marketing, and social media/ad teams.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Video, or Communications Media.
• 3-5 years of proven video production experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Motion Graphics.
• Experience in camera operation.
• Audio experience is a plus.
• Basic Photoshop skills are a HUGE plus.
• Unrelenting attention to detail.
• Resourceful, organized, and proactive with an ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
