Essential Job Functions:
The position's responsibilities are associated with a ''Preditor,'' (Writer-Producer-Editor) responsible for writing, producing and editing full-length features and segments of a show.
1. The Producer is involved throughout all phases of production from inception to completion; he or she initiates and generate content ideas; coordinates, supervises and controls certain aspects of the television production process, including the creative formatting and storyboard of each segment.
2. A producer directs and conducts interviews in the field and assists with trouble-shooting technical issues to help maintain television standards.
3. The Producer also assists the Coordinating Producer in carrying out the day-to-day operations of the show.
4. The Producer executes show objectives and contractual obligations.
5. The Producer produces, writes and edits video presentations on non-linear systems used to help market the Miami HEAT brand.
6. Assists HEAT Marketing and Media Production departments with day-to-day operational needs as requested.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in video and television production. Must possess television production skills associated with that of live and remote TV production; pre and post- production with 2-3 years of working experience. Must have strong creative skills and knowledge of sports entertainment in a production environment. Must also have excellent knowledge of basketball. Facility with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or comparable.
