Job Summary
This position is responsible for the direction of the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers, Bucks Grand Dancers (Senior Dance Team), Young Bucks (Youth Dance Team), and will also provide creative direction for select performances of the Bucks Breakers (Breakdancing Team), the Rim Rockers (dunk team) and the stunt/cheerleading team (Name TBD). The Entertainment Team Manager will oversee and assist with entertainment team auditions, game and community appearances, game-day activities, choreography organization and execution of team rehearsals, halftime shows, photo shoots and related responsibility and administration.

Job Description
*Milwaukee Bucks Dancers, Bucks Grand Dancers (Senior Dance Team), and Young Bucks (Youth Dance Team) main responsibilities:
• Manage & supervise dance team members to maintain the professionalism and performance quality of the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers; enforce team rules, guidelines and expectations and any disciplinary actions that may be needed.
• Responsible for administrating all paperwork and payroll for members and new hires.
• Design and order dance teams uniforms ensuring a variety of looks and costumes.
• Provide choreography for some of the dance teams routines (Bucks Dancers, Grand Dancers, and Young Bucks)
• Hire guest choreographers for most of the dance teams routines (Bucks Dancers, Grand Dancers, and Young Bucks)
• Schedule and coordinate team auditions and workshops with an emphasis on recruiting the best and most talented dancers available and work with the organization in interviews and selection of team members.
• Point person for all internal departments with questions and requests for the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers, Bucks Grand Dancers and Young Bucks, representing team to Marketing, Corporate Sales, Community Relations, and Ticket Sales as needed.
• Assist with selection and production of music for dance team performances.
• Schedule, organize and conduct all team rehearsals to assure proper level of performance from all members.
• Attend all Bucks home games to direct and monitor appearance, performance and responsibilities of the dance teams.
*Bucks Breakers, Rim Rockers, Stunt/Cheerleading Team TBD, and Bucks Beats responsibilities:
• Hire, train and work alongside manager of each respective team on overall creative approach
• Lead ALL collaboration performances during games and at halftime
• Schedule and coordinate team auditions and workshops with an emphasis on recruiting the best and most talented performers available and work with the organization in interviews and selection of team members.
• Assist with selection and production of music for dance team performances.
• Point person for all internal departments with questions and requests for the Milwaukee Bucks Breakers, Cheer/Stunt Team; representing team to Marketing, Corporate Sales, Community Relations, and Ticket Sales as needed.
• Responsible for administrating all paperwork and payroll for members and new hires
• Manage all social media platforms for each entertainment team
• Decide on costuming, staging, and special effects for game day performances and special themes
• Continual research of current events, pop-culture events, music trends and trending topics…and the ability to put those ideas to action quickly
• Coordinate and produce team photo shoots and work with front office staff on design of collateral and digital assets
• Assist in generating new ideas for game entertainment including music direction and uniforms for other performance teams, and other live programming & entertainment elements.
• Define on court presentation, including music, lighting, costuming and supporting elements for halftime shows
Job Qualifications
• High School Diploma, GED required- College Degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal and written
• Minimum of 5 years training and teaching various dance styles and teams – Professional Dance Team experience preferred.
• Strong choreography background
• Management experience with strong leadership skills.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Able to take creative direction and feedback.
Physical & Mental Requirements
• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear
• Nature of the position requires unlimited physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
• Must have the ability to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed
