The HR Generalist will serve as first point of contact for general human resource matters. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and basic knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in updating personnel policies and procedures.
• Assist with employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
• Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics.
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource programs.
• Understand basic HR Metrics.
• Maintain employee handbook and policy changes.
• Support hiring efforts through sourcing candidates, marketing open positions, and researching hiring technology to streamline current processes.
• Greet and provide information and assistance to employees.
• Update all organizational charts on an as needed basis.
• Assist employees with HR related inquiries.
• Maintain office/personnel files.
• Assist with the part-time onboarding and offboarding process including offer letters, background checks, new hire orientation, ID Badges, and processing paperwork.
• Ability to effectively triage HR matters effectively to ensure clients connect with correct HR team to address their concerns.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and collaborators at the same time.
• Assigned projects that support the broader P&C strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years HR experience.
• Desire to grow a career in Human Resources.
• Experience working in a customer service position.
• Ability to meet timelines and balance business relationships in a professional and confidential manner.
• Experience with ADP, applicant tracking systems, and video interviewing platforms is helpful.
• Experience with DocuSign is preferred.
• Strong professional ethics and sensitivity in dealing with confidential information.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on providing good customer service.
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail, able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Superb proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong sense of accountability and personal judgment.
Pay Range: $55-60k USD.
