About The Role:
As the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Beast Industries, you will lead the FP&A function and play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our rapidly growing business. From long-range strategic planning to daily forecasting and capital allocation , you’ll ensure we have the insights, tools, and discipline to scale effectively. You’ll be responsible for building and evolving our FP&A function from the ground up – laying the foundation for how we plan, allocate, and measure impact across the company.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the CFO, with high visibility, including direct interaction with the executive team and board-level engagement. You'll work cross-functionally across business divisions to bring clarity and structure to complex business decisions, helping guide the company through our next chapter of growth. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Own all FP&A functions, including annual planning, rolling forecasts, long-range modeling, and monthly business reviews.
• Build scalable forecasting and performance tracking processes that align with our strategic priorities and evolving business model.
• Partner with executive leadership to deliver actionable insights across revenue, product, brand, operations, and people.
• Lead budgeting, headcount planning, and resource allocation in close collaboration with department leads and HR.
• Develop dynamic financial models to evaluate new initiatives, investments, and margin opportunities.
• Design capital deployment frameworks that prioritize ROI and support long-term value creation.
Establish and monitor KPIs to assess performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support board and investor reporting with sharp financial storytelling, analysis, and business context.
• Partner with Accounting, RevOps, and Data to improve tools, systems, and decision support infrastructure.
• Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and precision.
What Makes You A Fit:
• 15 years of progressive finance experience, including senior-level FP&A leadership in high-growth environments. Past experience in investment banking or management consulting is highly desired.
• Proven track record of building and scaling financial processes that drive strategic clarity and operational discipline.
• Experience operating in dynamic businesses with evolving revenue streams, ideally across consumer, digital, or media sectors.
• Strong modeling and forecasting skills, with the ability to translate ambiguity into structured plans and insights.
• Hands-on experience with M&A, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and integration planning.
• Demonstrated ability to influence C-level executives and board members with confidence and clarity.
• Operator with a scrappy mindset – willing to roll up sleeves while also thinking long-term.
• Familiarity with financial planning systems (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive) and ERPs (e.g., NetSuite).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work across functions and levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
