Who are we hiring?
The Garden of Dreams Foundation Coordinator will be responsible for administrative support to the Foundation, assisting with program planning and execution, and facilitating communication with key stakeholders, partners and GDF’s young people and families. This position entails close collaboration with team members, involvement in data collection, detailed record-keeping, and facilitation of departmental operations.
What will you do?
• Provide administrative support for Garden of Dreams Executive Director
• Manage key administrative processes that include but are not limited to: maintaining fundraising database entries, assisting with basic financial reporting and payments, coordinating program statistics and correspondence with donors.
• Work with the team to provide support for select program events for underserved and ill children, including coordination of logistics, on-site management of children, partner communication, data collection, evaluation and recap of hundreds of annual events and activities
• Facilitate team operations by managing meeting schedules and coordinating logistics to ensure seamless execution
• Day to day responsibility of the distribution of thousands of donated annual tickets annually to partner organizations, including back-end reporting
• Provide support to select fundraising activities of the Foundation
• Assist in responding to inbound emails and phone calls from external constituents and prospects
• Responsible for GDF inventory of items and giveaways
• Ability to work both corporate hours plus event hours, inclusive of evenings and weekends
• Perform additional duties as required.
What do you need to succeed?
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 2 years’ experience working in professional setting
• Exceptional ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and attention to detail
• 1-2 years’ experience managing children and / or children-related activities
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Previous use of Microsoft Outlook and Raisers Edge NXT preferred
• Passionate about children
• Detail oriented, works well under pressure and creative
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends
• Experience with non-traditional work requirements, such as long hours and weekends, a plus
Special Requirements
• Travel within the tri-state area.

Pay Range
$45,000 — $70,000 USD
