Who are we hiring?
As part of Sphere Entertainment's Design and Creative Services team, Designers will create immersive visual content for the world’s most dynamic 360º canvas. They will work across a range of platforms and styles, crafting experiential concepts and campaigns. The work will span branding, identity systems, marketing materials, and digital and social activations, utilizing Sphere’s full range of immersive environments.
We are seeking Designers who are curious, experimental, and self-driven. They should bring a solid foundation in both 2D and 3D art, motion design, and concept visualization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for modern design, a deep understanding of beauty and aesthetics, and the ability to push creative boundaries.
They will collaborate with Creative Directors and Art Directors to visualize concepts and execute ideas across brand and marketing experiences. Beyond design, passion for music, art, storytelling, gaming, and culture is key, along with the ability to create immersive worlds.
What will you do?
• Take direction from Creative Directors and Art Directors to design and execute original, scalable animated and experiential content.
• Develop and design multi-platform brand identity systems for Sphere across environmental, web, print, mobile, and merchandise.
• Design experiential concepts across a variety of projects, from Sphere brand to original Sphere IP.
• Design, sketch, and illustrate concepts with a high level of visual storytelling.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and production-ready motion designs.
• Collaborate with teams to research and develop scalable concepts for various media, including brand identity, motion graphics, and digital innovations.
• Prepare pitch decks to communicate ideas to stakeholders and clients, including design proposals and vision presentations.
• Identify emerging trends in design, art, film, and music.
• Ensure all work meets high standards of creativity and innovation.
• Receive and incorporate feedback on designs with an open mind and adapt quickly as needed.
What do you need to succeed?
• 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced creative studio or agency.
• Proficiency in a variety of mediums and methods for conveying ideas (e.g., storyboards, mock-ups, etc.).
• Expertise in visual design software (Adobe Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, Miro, Figma).
• Experience in 3D modeling and animation (Blender, C4D, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong design background with an understanding of typography, layout, and spatialization.
• Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and suggest creative solutions for production methods.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of emerging creative technologies and best practices in design.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
