Who are we hiring?
The Event Office Administrator is responsible for the overall operation and supervision of the Event Operations Offices and the Guest Experience Office and Podium.
What will you do?
• Communication liaison for positive resolution of event related issues.
• Creates positive and memorable guest experiences.
• Tracks the interaction/activity of Event Staff and produces a report at the conclusion of each event summarizing the event's activities.
• Facilitates Designated Driver program and any new customer focused events/ activities.
• Facilitates/tracks inventory of Relocation Seats, notifying senior event staff when allocation has been depleted.
• Tracks, communicates and follows-up with all guest issues and reports them to Guest Services Manager.
• Process all event related paperwork for corporate wide distribution.
• Monitor and document radio, telephone and chat communication.
• Dispatch appropriate staff to event related issues.
• Provide Guest Services with radios and any event related equipment.
• Report accurate labor calls to Finance/ Management.
• Work with Event Manager and Event Supervisors to provide all assignment needs.
• Works with Disabled Services group as necessary for possible seat relocations.
• Distributes & tests Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) for guests requiring an accommodation.
• Distributes sensory bags for guests requesting an accommodation.
• Will be required to take and pass the FDNY exam to receive F-03 Certificate of Fitness for Indoor Place of Assembly.
• The Event Office Administrator provides administrative support to all Event Staff.
What do you need to succeed?
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge of an Arena/Theater layout, as well as event staff roles and their associated areas of responsibility.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management, government agencies, NYPD and FDNY.
• Must have excellent verbal and communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to handle sensitive, heightened customer situations on-site. Must have supervisory experience.
• Must be able to multi task in a highly urgent environment.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Must be detail oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays

Hourly Pay Range
$27 — $27 USD
