MSG Entertainment is hiring a Senior Editor to lead video production for the Creative Studio, focusing primarily on sports content while supporting entertainment projects as needed. This role involves producing engaging, high-quality video content aligned with brand strategies, mentoring junior team members, and overseeing video projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate video projects for Creative Studio and Digital Operations teams.
• Assemble advanced video content with layers, graphics, and effects for various platforms.
• Oversee internal logging systems to ensure content is well-organized and accessible.
• Archive projects on servers for future retrieval.
• Serve as an expert in sound design and mixing, handling in-house sound needs.
• Mentor Video Editors and Associate Editors to foster skill development.
• Review and approve footage, graphics, and sound design to maintain high standards.
• Stay updated on editing techniques and industry trends, integrating innovations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align video outputs with broader initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manage schedules, onboarding, and project tasks.
