This is a Part Time Job
The primary function of this role will be to assist in the daily operations of the Madison Square Garden All Access Tour and contributing to giving our guests a world-class experience. S/he will be responsible for assisting the tour guides along their routes and ensuring the order and safety of the guests. This position will be responsible for running our technology stations along the tour route and setting up/tearing down props. The role will serve as a brand ambassador for the venue tours and ensure our guests have a memorable experience.
What will you do?
• Set up and break down the check-in desk, waiting area, photo experience and virtual reality (no prior experience in virtual reality is required).
• Trail each tour to ensure all guests stay together and the tours are secure
• Assist tour guides by looking up additional information and translations
• Greet tour guests during check-in and collect demographic information
• Serve as a brand ambassador on the arena plaza steps and in the box office lobby to entice people around the building to take a tour
• Assist with welcoming large tour groups and organizing them into their respective tours
• Secure, return, and observe proper use of equipment such as radios, keys, uniform, locker room, and props during tours.
• Conduct frequent checks of the tour route throughout the day
• Ability to interact and work cordially alongside other departments.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What do you need to succeed?
• Experience in a guest-facing industry that has a focus on customer experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Recommended background would include, but not limited to, event usher, guest relations, service industry
• Ability to adapt to requests and changes quickly and with short notice
• High level of commitment and flexibility required.
• Must be available 4 days a week including Sundays and holidays as needed.
• This is a seasonal, part-time position.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
Special Requirements
• Must be able to lift equipment – up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to operate virtual reality and other immersive technology (no prior training required)
• Bi-lingual preferred

Hourly Pay Range
$18 — $18 USD
