Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Editor intern, you can expect a collaborative experience and to come away fully equipped with the strategy and skills for full-time, entry-level positions. The Assistant Editor Intern will follow Standard Operating Procedure's ''SOP's'' and workflows and provide on-site editing support to a Senior Lead Editor in a fast-paced post-production environment working on a variety of streaming and content operations final products. Additionally, the intern will work closely with the editing team, post production, and audio operations to ensure raw footage from third party productions as well as in-house productions meet the highest technical standards for editing and audio post-production environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must provide a cover letter with the submission of the application
• Efficiency in the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder and Photoshop
• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent verbal and written skills
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects with a professional demeanor and prioritize work while under pressure
• Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment
• Must have strong customer service/client relation skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
• Adept at learning new software
• A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve departmental goals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Collaborate with team members on new projects and ideas
• Ability to handle and prioritize simultaneous projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Education
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company
• 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship
• Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university, and be sophomore status or above
• Able to provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship

Internship Eligibility:
• Candidates must provide a cover letter with the submission of the application.
• At least 18 years of age
• Unrestricted work authorization
• Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program, or recently graduated within six months at the time of application.
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• The candidate must be available to work full-time hours (approximately 30-40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
• The dates of this internship are June 6, 2022- August 19, 2022.
