The Executive Assistant will provide support to NBC Sports executive leaders.
Responsibilities
• Administrative duties for this role include: managing travel and expenses; coordinating/managing calendars; planning meetings; and attending and taking notes for meetings
• Handle and coordinate confidential information with detail and due care
• Prepare expense reports and order supplies as needed
• Assist in preparation and drafting of documents and presentations
• Comprehensive research, substantive follow up, and coordinating special projects and events
• Provide assistance on various projects and activities
• Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 3 years administrative and/or general office experience
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Desired Characteristics
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure
• Interest in sports television production and operations
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
• Experience working in media or television production a plus
Additional Requirements:
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills needed
• Must be a team player
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
• Solid writing and organization skills
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Able to prioritize demands and heavy volume of internal demands
• Comfortable dealing with heavy volume of calls - both internal and external - as well as complicated travel arrangements
• Flexibility to be available on evenings and weekends as needed to coordinate travel plans
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and occasional weekends
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
