NBC Sports Next includes two groups. This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group.
Youth & Recreational Sports is comprised of technology platforms, such as SportsEngine, SportsEngine Motion, TourneyMachine, and TeamUnify that enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.

As a member of our Youth & Recreation Sports Marketing team at NBC Sports Next, you will...
• Build relationships and provide consultative marketing support to our highest value foundational youth sports organizational partners including Governing Bodies, Pro Sports franchises, premier tournaments & events, and large leagues.
• Develop acquisition, retention, cross-sell & upsell marketing strategies tailored to meet business objectives and maximize revenue across the SportsEngine products with emphasis on our SportsEngine HQ, SportsEngine Play, and SportsEngine Motion products.
• Lead and drive the timelines, budgets, marketing strategy, and plans for all enterprise client partners.
• Leverage Enterprise partner relationships to identify, analyze, and execute scalable activation strategies for SportsEngine HQ, SportsEngine Motion, and SportsEngine Play customer adoption.
• Explore, strategize, and creatively partner with Enterprise customer partners to find additional ways we can strengthen each other's brand awareness and business objectives.
• Review and develop insights from business, customers, competitors, channel or campaign data to inform marketing strategies. Create testing metrics and methodologies for optimization efforts to enhance marketing effectiveness.
• Serve as a connector and trusted partner between Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Channel Partners, and Marketing, working closely with business leaders to translate business objectives into impactful marketing strategies and plans to acquire, retain customers and expand usage.
• Provide strategic support to Enterprise selling team to drive new foundational partner relationships.
• Own the customer journey and optimization driving adoption of primary products, ancillary services, and customer enablement.
• Manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and efforts against impact to the business.
• Deep knowledge of the customer journeys and sales funnel optimization to continually monitor the strategic planning process and identify efficiencies, opportunities to optimize, and leverage best practices across the business.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• Experience building behavior-based marketing tactics that drive conversions and reduce churn.
• Solid foundation in omni-channel marketing best practices and tactics (SEO/SEM, Paid Search, Display, Email, etc.).
• Continual learning mindset to adapt to changes in business, learn about product updates, and find efficiencies or learnings.
• Strong public speaker and presenter, able to effectively lead meetings, teams, and taskforces.
• Experience leveraging customer insights to drive strategy.
• Strong planning, organizational and project management skills to proactive move complex projects forward.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to tailor your message to different audiences.
• Experience in balancing departmental relationships and work streams, with a demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage.
• Ability to act as an internal and external advocate for projects and priorities by engage appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation.
Desired Characteristics
• 2 years experience with CRM software programs like Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Marketo, InlineManual, Intercom (or similar).
• High-achieving, self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere
• Proactive team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within the organization.
• Entrepreneurial ‘can do' approach with an adaptable, change-oriented mindset.
• Highly analytical.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
Additional Job Requirements
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Must be willing to work in the Minneapolis, MN office.
