Position: Production Support (Part-time, Project-based)
Location: Stamford, CT
Job Description:
The Production Support role at NBC Sports offers part-time support to the production units, ensuring smooth operations for media asset management and equipment logistics in a 24/7 production environment. The role is project-based with an expected duration of up to 6-12 months, depending on project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
• Familiarize with and manage content metadata entry and editing.
• Support on-air production teams by handling external media tape loads and equipment loans.
• Assist with onboarding new content acquisition clients (using tools like Mediashuttle, Latakoo).
• Digitize physical assets into the NBC Sports Media Asset Management (MAM) system.
• Manage daily ingest of recorded events, cataloging events such as press conferences, shows, and sports events.
• Monitor and manage storage levels across multiple workgroups and workspaces.
• Provide timely support to prioritize and fulfill asset restore requests for production teams.
• Assist in distributing and retrieving content through various digital delivery methods (MediaShuttle, DropBox).
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to meet day-of-air deadlines.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
