Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
• Analyze legal contracts and other documents daily to track all pertinent dates and deadlines across all NBC Universal TV platforms (NBC Network, Universal Television, Universal Content Productions, Universal Television Alternative Studio, Peacock, USA, Syfy ,Bravo, Oxygen, E!, First Run Syndication)
• Contracts to be reviewed daily include but not limited to term deals, talent deals, script development, distribution agreements, license agreements, and all forms of production related functions - producers, writers, directors and performers
• High level and high volume of detailed data input in specialized databases requiring exceptional attention to detail
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business affairs administration, television experience at a studio or network preferred
• Ability to parse contracts to determine necessary information that needs to be tracked
• Ability to understand legal jargon and simplify it into everyday language
• Ability to apply training to similar but not the same situations
• Work experience in a fast-paced environment with a demanding workload
• Good business judgment, discretion/confidentiality and self-confidence
• Must possess exceptional computer skills
