Role Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Director in support of the NBCUniversal Ad Sales and Content Distributions teams is responsible for providing strategic direction on enterprise-wide talent initiatives, building strategic relationships with HR partners and business clients, and personally delivering on operational recruitment activities. This leader manages a team of highly functioning recruiters that support sourcing and recruitment strategies for the Ad Sales and Content Distribution teams.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the recruiting leader and thought partner to senior business leaders and HR Business Partners; inform business leaders on key talent issues, and propose creative ideas for identifying and attracting top talent in a competitive market
• Consultant to the senior and executive team to thoroughly understand the talent needed to successfully deliver against the organization's vision and long-term goals
• Development, planning, and execution of talent acquisition strategies for Sports inclusive of diversity recruitment, talent forecasting and pipelining, resource and relationship management
• Effectively manage, coach and train a team of recruiters to deliver excellent results; instill a standard of excellence in all aspects of the full life cycle hiring process
• Provide valuable contribution to overall management of TA team through seat on TA Leadership team
• Ensure recruiting resources are appropriately allocated to support the most critical business initiatives, and recruitment and sourcing capabilities are designed and built to meet the evolving talent needs
• Effectively build relationships with industry organizations to monitor market trends, leverage key internal stakeholders to maximize effective outreach of talent within our employee's network
• Successfully run point on large scale projects from inception to completion
• Utilize recruiting data and metrics to identify trends in the market and inform key decisions and provide solutions
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum eight (8) years' experience in Recruitment and/or Human Resources with a strong focus on high-level/skilled professionals in Entertainment/Media
• Minimum five (5) years full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on high-level/skilled and/or Entertainment/Sales/Media recruitment
• Minimum of (3) years of experience leading a team

• Proven leadership track record managing senior executive relationships and ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines
• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients
• Propose and implement ongoing improvements to NBCUniversal's recruitment efforts
• Clear desire to make work fun and enjoyable within a team work environment
• Strong knowledge of basic employment law and HR practices
• Experienced in behavioral based interviewing, pre-employment testing, and other innovative selection methods
• Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately (candidate's fit with the position and with the company culture)
• Able to in work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management
• Proficient with ATS system and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet savvy

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
