You'll be Joining
The enterprise-wide Global Talent Development team, responsible for designing and implementing NBCUniversal's talent development strategy across our vast portfolio of media and entertainment businesses.
What You'll be Doing
You'll be a key leader within our Global Talent Development team, helping to build a culture of inclusion and belonging through company-wide learning solutions, leadership development experiences, employee engagement and talent practices that break down barriers and support ongoing career growth and trajectory.
At the core of this role, you will:
• Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of Talent Lab experiences that deepen a diverse pipeline of talent at all levels of the organization
• Enrich our leadership development curriculum with principles of inclusive leadership and social impact.
• Build cross-company partnership and collaborations with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Corporate Social Responsibility to deliver on enterprise-wide initiatives that break barriers and build inclusion
• Work with internal and external subject matter experts to help elevate the engagement and education of our employee-base across the spectrum of DEIA related issues and effort
• Lead new program design efforts to help continually engage and upskill the organization at scale.
Your Responsibilities:
• Lead a suite of Social Impact/DEIA focused development experiences globally, including:
• Lead and facilitate learning and development experiences (both in-person and virtual)
• Collaborate with partners to identify and curate executive sponsors, internal and external expert speakers, manage vendor partnership, and incorporate unique learning elements that reflect the current priorities and initiatives of NBCUniversal
• Perform ongoing needs analysis and research to inform design updates and program facilitation
• Ensure a high-quality end-to-end talent experience, from logistics to learning materials to catering
• Evaluate experiences and continually make improvements
• Drive the development of inclusive leadership though the alignment with company-wide talent management practices and employee development efforts
• Manage relationships across a variety of functions, business partners, and stakeholders to advance the inclusive leadership development agenda
• Participate in working groups and communities of practice across NBCUniversal to share your expertise, and further support the integration of DEIA into internal programs and practices.
• Remain a student of DEIA and social impact, keeping up with change internally and externally, to optimize and integrate within NBCU's strategic approach and emphasize impact
Every week will be different, and you'll play an important role developing our talent, which is at the heart of our success as a creative company.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
We're a lean team that moves quickly, so to jump on in, we'll expect that you have:
• Significant experience (7 years) with L&OD design and facilitation, especially focused on leadership development
• Experience designing for in-person learning as well as video-based or online learning and have experience in multiple delivery modes
• Experience as a facilitator in virtual and in-person environments
• Experience consulting with stakeholders to identify development needs and designing solutions to address them
• Significant project and program management experience, regularly balancing multiple projects in various stages of design and delivery
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Experience as a people manager, with an approach that reflects inclusive leadership principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, and proficiency in Excel and Word
• A bachelor's degree
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 25% of the time
Desired Characteristics:
You've put in more time developing yourself than the bare minimum and have developed further expertise in the talent, strategy, and design space, which may include:
• Educational background and/or experience working on diversity-related programs or initiatives
• Experience or familiarity with nonprofit organizations
• A master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, or an MBA
• Familiarity with: Articulate Rise, SharePoint, Success Factors LMS, LinkedIn Learning, Campaign Monitor, inDesign, Canva

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
