USG currently has an opportunity for a HR Coordinator who is responsible for performing a broad range of HR and Administrative duties in support of the Human Resources team and larger Production client base. This position is responsible for partnering with our Production clients and studios to provide HR, administrative and transactional support. This position will manage functions including; workflow forms, payroll processing, SAP updates, production benefits, overall deal administration, etc. This position will report to the VP, Human Resources and is a unique opportunity to gain visibility into employee relations as a specialty within the HR function at NBCUniversal, as well as gain insight into Production practices within other divisions of the Company.
Job Duties:
• Provide administrative support to the team including calendar management, track production timelines, answer phones, assist travel arrangements and reconcile expenses.
• Provide broad support to the team, to include scheduling and setting up logistics for meetings and in-person/virtual training.
• Maintain distribution lists and shared drives, keeping organization charts current and providing general office support as needed.
• Become a primary user for various payroll platforms, process SAP HR transactions, including onboarding and off-boarding, exit interviews, workflow forms, regular and ad hoc reporting, security audits, and other data validation or reporting exercises.
• Learn our HR policies and practices and be on point to answer and/or refer employee questions about Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, Employee Perks, PTO, Company Policies, etc.
• Help in the administration of our talent pipeline programs, including but not limited to training, recruitment efforts, associate and intern orientations, and potentially interviewing candidates.
• Run regular and ad hoc reports from HR systems in support of USG.
• Work on special projects as needed, frequently synthesizing data into a cohesive story.
• Partner with HR team on planning & executing employee engagement events, activities and initiatives.
• Assist with employee relation interviews, documentation and case management responsibilities.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion with regard to all matters, data, and documents due to the high level of access to confidential and business information.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• 1 years of work experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with performing V-lookups, Pivot Tables and Subtotal features within Excel highly recommended.
• Prior media/television industry experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP preferred.

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
