Senior Manager of Advocacy and Influencer (Content and Engagement)
Responsibilities
The Content Engagement Team plays a critical role in driving deep engagement with our target audience through content, community, storytelling, and influencer initiatives. As the Senior Manager of Advocacy and Influencer they are responsible for creating and implementing Advocacy and Influencer Marketing plans to reach new and relevant audiences at scale for Universal Parks and Resorts at Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal Orlando Resort. This role will be located in the Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities include:
• Create and implement Advocacy and Influencer Marketing plans and programs and identify short-term tests and long-term roadmap
• Responsible for Advocacy and Influencer relationships, and managing the relationship database
• Establish goals, and primary KPI's to measure and define success for the Advocacy and Influencer program
• Leads the development of breakthrough Advocacy and Influencer strategic plans that deliver on the story of Universal Parks and Resorts
• Works with team to develop and oversee the Advocacy and Influencer Project Calendar and align with stakeholders across the UPR organization and within NBCU
• Responsible for fan audience development and integration with audience science, data capture, and digital strategy
• Install and implement new platforms, technologies and systems to scale Advocacy and Influencer capabilities
• Build relationships and work with external partners and vendors to help us innovate in how we bring initiatives to market quickly
• Own the Influencer & ambassador and outreach as well as the vetting, casting process for brand and advertising partnerships
• Provide consistent updates on trends and updates in the Advocacy and Influencer space applicable to the Universal Parks leadership
Qualifications/Requirements
• 5-7 years of experience in social media, public relations, and or influencer marketing
• 1-3 years dedicated experience in influencer or talent marketing strategy and development
• Bachelors Degree Required (Communication, Marketing or related field).
• Must be able to collaborate and work well with all levels of staff.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends at times
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA with flexibility to work a hybrid schedule from home and in the office.

• Track record of accomplishments in the influencer and talent space; specifically in bringing big and new ideas to life successfully
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of executives and management
• Have a deep understanding of both the experiential and analytical interpretation of the customer journey.
• Friendly and positive demeanor; team player who enjoys interacting with people and has a demonstrated ability to work with internal and external clients building strong relationships.
• Proven ability to drive and successfully execute on strategic content objectives.
• Well-versed across both owned and paid strategies, with the ability to plan proactively.
• A self-starter, bar-raiser and natural collaborator, this role must build key connections both internally and externally, while communicating and delivering complex strategies effectively.
• Bias to action, familiar with methods and approaches needed to get things done in a collaborative, lean and fast-moving environment.
