Bilingual Social Media Associate Producer - NBCU Local
Location: Remote (fully remote position)
NBCU Local is seeking a bilingual Social Media Associate Producer to join the central Audience Development team. This role focuses on growing and engaging audiences across NBCU’s 12 owned and operated television stations, 31 Telemundo stations, and 3 Regional Sports Networks, with an emphasis on their social media presence. The position reports to the Senior Audience Growth Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Post editorial content to stations’ social media platforms to meet audience goals
• Report pacing metrics weekly, monthly, and around key initiatives with guidance from the Senior Audience Growth Editor
• Provide guidance to markets on social media opportunities for their teams
• Support sponsored content and promotional initiatives as needed
• Assist Telemundo markets in maintaining their original social video strategies
• Help optimize and set up YouTube channels for various markets
• Maintain the social media calendar and manage original content posting for branded social handles (e.g., Clear The Shelters)
• Provide growth and engagement suggestions and assist with partner pitching
• Identify trends to inform social partnership strategies
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience producing social content or working in a newsroom with social media responsibilities
• Fluent in the culture of social media and online communities, particularly TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
• Strong understanding of data and the ability to provide informed feedback on content performance
• Excellent news judgment
• Proficient writing skills in both English and Spanish

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000
