Job Description:
NBCUniversal is seeking a Director of Staging Operations to support productions originating from 30 Rockefeller Plaza and associated remote productions. This individual will be responsible for maximizing operational aspects of staging operations, including team development, collaborating with business partners, and managing labor budgets. The Director will lead a team of managers and technical staff and work closely with Labor Relations, Human Resources, and showrunners to ensure that staging needs meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage staging management teams for 30 Rock productions
• Oversee budget and labor management for IATSE & USA
• Collaborate with showrunners and designers to meet client expectations
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for all brands
• Foster client relationships for customer success
• Streamline processes to enhance reliability
Workplace Requirements:
• Full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years of experience in a studio environment
• 5+ years of management experience in a production environment
